Well, if you apply the Shettles method theories to my cycle that brought us the BFP... I'm destined for a boy
post #3 of 34
i knew wren was a girl from the first moment i knew i was pregnant (6dpo!) so i have performance anxiety this time! when i got my BFP my immediate thought was "WHAT A SNEAKY BOY THING TO DO!" because i was a little upset lol. but i actually don't have a feeling yet...i guess i will have to get to know this sprout first. we don't find out ahead of time so i have some time to get a sense of him/her!

shettles would predict girl for us.

I'm using Shettles method to base my guess and I guess another girl!! Dh and I BD 3 days before O with our now 3yr dd and this pregnancy we BD 2 days before. I'm thinking GIRL!! Of course, I would be happy either way!!

I don't know. If I had to guess I'd guess girl but that's because of a dream I had, not a conscious feeling. We also don't know yet if it's one or two since we transferred 2 embryos with our IVF. Maybe it's one of each so I can't tell or maybe I'm just one of those people who don't feel the gender strongly. My Mom said she had no feeling at all with my sister and I but her 3rd was definitely a boy. My SIL knew from the moment she got pregnant - and she was correct.

twin boys

or just one boy

but we're having a boy

well Im almost afraid to post, I dont want to jinx myself lol but here is the scoop. I knew with DD she was a girl before I even found out. I knew with DS that he was a boy before I found out. Since DD was stillborn I am desperately wanting another DD but dont want that to get in the way of my thinking I know what the gender is. I also dont want to get my hopes up and get disappointed... dont get me wrong, I will love whatever I get but little girls hold a special spot in my heart. So for that reason I have convinced to tell myself this will be a boy. That way if it is a girl I will be pleasantly surprised. and if not I am not let down. So lets say boy... though I feel its a girl.

I'm gonna say boy because that's what DH wants - if it's a girl I will be pleasantly surprised.

It is still too early for me to have a feeling one way or the other. However, if you go by the "Chinese Gender Predictor Calendar" (which, incidentally, was correct for my first 2 DC), then this babe will be a girl!

I'm going to say boy.

The Chinese Gender Prediction Chart predicted all three of my girls correctly, and this time is says boy.

With all of my girls, I knew within a few days, if not before I was even pregnant, what their name would be. This time there's no girl names that I *really* like.

My children, and my nieces and nephews have all said boy.

That being said, I don't know if we're going to find out before the birth or not. Last time with our third girl, people were very negative, saying things like "Heard you were having another girl, that's too bad." Or, "What a shame." I just can't tolerate that kind of negativity, because although we'd love to have a boy, we'd also love to have another little girl, and I can't deal with people calling one gender over another a shame.

My intuition says boy b/c of how unplanned it is and how erratically it all happened BUT who knows. This baby has been a surprise from the beginning.

It's great, isn't it? It's great to have someone articulate what your mind is thinking--at least for me

No idea!

DH said he wants a girl....again, that way we HAVE to "try for a boy and have #3", hee.

I'm happy either way, no vibes here yet!

WOW lots of boy predictions
This one cracks me up. For reference, according to Shettles my DS1 was a girl. The Chinese calendar predicted him to be a boy.

I have two DSSs and my DS, so 90% of me is SURE it is another little boy.

We did use some gender swaying tips and elements of O+12 for a girl and I just checked and to my shock the Chinese calendar says girl. I think it is maybe a 10% chance.

Before I was pg with DS1 I assumed I would have and really wanted a girl. Now I can honestly say I will be thrilled with either.

Just to be sporting here, I am going to go with the longshot and predict GIRL.
