Favorite TV series... Need something to do

Thread Starter
Ok, so I am bored out of my mind. This must be what bed rest feels like.

For now I am allowed to go up and down stairs once per day until after my appointment with the surgeon on Tuesday. I cant lift anything or really do anything. I am spending a lot of time in bed since we have it set up so I can have the PC etc right here.

Any TV shows on Hulu I should catch up on?

I just got some yarn out and will pick up my knitting again since the overall body ache is finally gone.

I am both lucky and unlucky in that the inlaws are in town so they can help entertain DS but it also means hubby and DS is gone a lot leaving me home alone. BIL has a tendency to need to control everything and have been making plans for them which of course I cannot particiapte in as it would require leaving the house etc. I don't want the whole family here either though so I am kind of stuck.

Not sure what's on Hulu, but I tend to like half hour comedy shows for my short attention span -- and you don't have to get too emotionally involved.

How about: Flight of the Conchords, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, 30 Rock, Scrubs.

30 rock
arrested development
that 70s show

I can't handle anything at all concerning (like CSI or well the news...) when I'm pp so I've been watching mostly comedies.

Empires - The one about the Medici and the one about the Israelites were my favorites.

There are also several interesting food related documentaries. One was about wine and that was really good, and a couple were about obesity and food production and stuff like that.

One of my best friends from college sent me seasons 1 and 2 of "Big Love" on DVD as a congratulatory (if unconventional) baby gift. So I'm looking forward to starting that soon (not sure when--this is my third, so there isn't much time for getting into a new show).

My husband and I also started watching Brothers and Sisters a month or two ago, and we really like it. You could check that out.
