Older brother in preschool...how protected is DD?

DD, 4 months old, is vaxed on schedule thus far, but from now on she's going to be selectively vaxed if at all. She is EBF and not in a daycare setting. Her 4-month WBV is next week and DH and I have some decisions to make. She will NOT be getting the rota vax.

DS, 4 years, is totally vaxed, but is in preschool. Dr. Sears says in the Vaccine Book that a baby that is EBF and not in daycare is at very low risk to catch some of the VPDs, but what if an older sibling is in school? I know that doesn't eliminate the benefits of breastfeeding and not in daycare, but I'd like to be as informed and armed as possible for the WBV, regardless of what DH and I decide to do.

I really REALLY don't want her to get the DTaP again. I'm waiting for DH to do his research too so we can come to a consensus...he's completely neutral ATM.

TIA!

I wouldn't worry particularly about an older sib bring something vax-available home. They'll bring home colds and such.

Neither of my kids are vaxed at all and we go all sorts of places and I've never worried.

He actually brought home what I think very well might have been swine flu back in May, the day after DD came home from the NICU. DH took him to urgent care but they didn't test for the flu, and within a few days he was better, then got worse for one day, then DH and I were sick for a day...and DD never got sick.

(Another reason I'm going to raise hell if the H1N1 vax becomes mandatory - I'm sure there are many, many people who have had it and thus have immunity but never even knew if they had it.)
