Feed 10 month old Chicken = Screaming Baby

Right now we're going through a bit of a teething phase so it's a little hard to tell- but we've tried giving our 10 month old daughter chicken a couple of times.

The first time we had screaming no sleep baby for several nights until we cut the chicken out.

The second time we had the same thing.

The third time (right now) she's waking up every 1.5 hours and screaming, rolling around... nothing works.

Momma is a vegetarian and didn't eat meat or animal protein products during the pregnancy or currently. Baby is breast fed. Baby has been fed only home made food (squash, peas, carrots, acorn squash, zucchini, etc) and store prunes.

Suggestions welcome- I'm not going to get any sleep tonight

My LO is allergic to chicken. He has those sleep issues and also gets a red ring around his anus. For him its a cross rxn with eggs, which he cannot tolerate through my breastmilk.

If I were you I would wait a few months before you try to give her chicken again, and be very careful if you ever decide to trial eggs for her.

My LO can eat all other sorts of meat fine....so far we've tried turkey, lamb, goat, and salmon. Meat is good for them, so you might want to think about trying something else.

My DS also can't have chicken (or turkey). Maybe another meat.... Anything that repeatedly causes problems... eliminate. Try again in 6 months. Keep track of everything you feed her from now on. Just in case there's anything else.
