Anyone not done much to get ready for baby?

I guess this is because this is my second baby and we have most of what we need. I just haven't done much to actually get ready yet. I finally pulled out 0-3 month clothes and washed them (been stored away for four years). But I haven't put them up yet because I want to paint the dresser first. I pulled out my cloth dipes to verify the few things I need to add to my stash, but still need to wash them.
We've moved recently, but we're unpacked. I just didn't want to pull all the baby stuff out and stare at it for the next 12 weeks. I think if I were still working I would be getting it ready because I'd have less time. But now that I'm staying home I'm trying to reserve all that activity to GIVE me something to do.
Anybody else still waiting to get things ready?

I can see you are are a couple weeks behind me. I hadn't done or bought almost anything until I hit week 30, and I am a first time mom

I am just too tired to do anything. All I want to do is sleep! We moved recently too and we are still unpacking and getting organized (or trying to..) we are CDing DD already in OS dipes so those are all set. I do have a basket full of bedding, clothes, etc to get washed but I just can't get motivated.

Maybe I will be nesting soon and I can do everything in like 2 days.

I'm ready and motivated to do baby stuff, but still don't have anything ... My shower is Sept. 12th, so I will be able to do more baby things then. Also, I'm hoping the crib will be here by then!

I havn't done much.
I finally got a few little sleepers/ clothes and dug out my infant carseat that needs a clean. I still need to get a dresser for the new LOs clothes as there is just not enough room in the one we just got for DD and DS when our old huge one fell apart.

I'm in the process of going through all of our stuff and making a list of what we have and where we need to fill in, but other than a carseat, I'm not really going to worry about it until late october. Now if I could just decide between home and hospital... that seems to be my most pressing issue.

You're like my lobster.

I have a Moby wrap. That's it. I'm about to kick it into high gear though, as I finally moved. I haven't unpacked a thing, mind you, but I've moved. The next month is all about baby, although my mom is encouraging me not to buy anything until after my shower on the 26th. We'll see.

I am 30 weeks and haven't done much of anything. I do have some NB and small diapers, but that's about it. I have most of the clothes and gear left over from DS, but I have no idea where half of it is or what I still need. Everything needs to be washed and sorted. There are things that I want to buy and I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm still waiting for my nesting instinct to kick in so I can get some stuff done!

I agree. I got all panicked a couple of months back and started buying baby stuff and now everyone is starting to offer me stuff : (CDs, infant clothes, etc.)! I guess it's better to be prepared (being the planner that I am) but I don't want to end up with excess again like I did with DD!

Not much happening here, though I did just visit home where I was given a beautiful baby and so now the baby has some clothes to wear.

That said, as of right now, it'll be sleeping in a laundry basket...but at least it will be well dressed while doing it.

We've also recently moved, only been in our new house about 3 weeks and so I've done nothing for the new baby. Because it's my third I have everything but it's all in a pile in the middle of her room. I keep thinking there's lots of time yet, right? I'm also having my first homebirth and I've nothing to prepare for that. With everything else going on I've basically forgotten I'm even having this baby.

Not too much, partly because I still can't seem to wrap my mind around the reality of a baby coming I have a couple of new newborn items and I know where our old 1-12 months clothes are (this is our third). We need to order some new CDs, our old ones are kind of hammered. But, really, if the baby was born today, it would be fine regardless. I have two breasts to feed it with, a blanket and bed (ours) to put it in, a CD and a sleeper. We really don't have to have more than that. Oh, and we have a wrap, too.

That's how I've been feeling too. Between our move and ds's recent behavior (not sure if it's due to the move or not). I seem to have my hands full dealing with all that and the emotional/physical state of pregnancy. I've said to dh numerous times this pregnancy...."I'm almost forgetting there is a baby at the end of all this!"

It took me a while to figure that one out, but I think I did.

I have some clothes. Although, I will have to get some more (we're having a boy after 2 girls so we have NOTHING). I haven't bought any bedding yet. We have all the big ticket items from Brianna. Just being lazy about it all (doesn't help that we're really strapped for cash right now either).

I worked out in my head where were going to put the change table and baby clothes . . . does that count as doing something? I even measured the change table to make sure it fits. Now I just have to take all of last year's winter jackets and snow pants off of it, wash it down, move it out of the storage room and find the tiny baby clothes that are hiding around here somewhere . . .

This is baby #3 for us, and ds1 started his first week of school this week, and has his birthday on Sunday. After we're through all that, maybe I'll have room in my head and schedule to think about baby stuff.

Oh, we ordered a few more OS pocket diapers, but that was mostly because ds2 decided he's not interested in the potty after all, but refuses to keep anything with velcro on. I could pretend it was for the baby, though . . .

I made a crib quilt and a set of curtains. That is it. Literally. I have done NOTHING and I can't get worked up about it She will sleep with us at first, so no need for a crib yet. Diapers? None survived the other three, so I need all new dipes. Just using pfs, but still, perhaps I should order some?!? Clothes are in the storage shed somewhere, I hope...who knows? Carseat is being used by ds, will have to get a booster for dd #2, move ds into dd's carseat, and turn his around...do that eventually? I have a wrap, but only because my friend brought it back Can't find my breast pump, have no bottles, who knows where any onesies are. No homebirth supplies, either; gotta order some so I'm not using dental floss to tie off her cord like with ds. Honestly, I'm like poor country folk, birthin' out in a field somewhere and then throwing the baby on my back and pickin' some more beans. Yes, my ancestors were poor north Mississippi farmers I swear, I am so not together.

With dd #1, I was so on top of things...she had this dreamy nursery, precious clothes, diapers ready and waiting, freshly painted walls, coordinating decorations, hand-knitted sweaters. This baby? I am vaguely aware that I will be having another baby soon, but nothing really registers right now! I guess I'll do something constructive this weekend. Or not.
