Hi! I'm due May 9th. I'd like to join you all. AF was due today, but instead the morning sickness has kicked in. I tested positive a few days ago, so I was afraid to really "Say" I was pg in case I had a chemical pg or miscarried. But I think I'm ready to claim this pg and enjoy.
This will be baby #4 for us (3rd, prayerfully, to remain in our arms). DH is really nervous due to last years circumstances of losing our son, but I think for me, the birth will be the scarey part (we lost him at 4 days old from severe birth complications).
However, for now I'm just anxious to progress and find out the gender. Our son was our only surp[rise and while it was fun to wait, the circumstance tainted that for us, as well as me never really feeling connected to him like our two daughters.
I really hope to stay the whole way through with you gals, and I'm just loving up on this little embryo/fetus.
I can't wait for 9 weeks. DH and I have seen all our kids at 9 weeks and it was reat. With our first it was because they kept not being able to find her heartbeat and the doc wanted to reassure us, so she did a quick u/s. There she was bouncing all around. So with our next 2, dh and I went to an independent place (since we did out of hospital births the last 2 times) at 9 weeks to see the little beans jumping around and hearts beating. Plus, it's very reassuring at that time since at 9 weeks you aren't growing, you aren't feeling anything (besides sickness) and dh can actually see there is a real pg going on.
See everyone on the boards!
