Am I dreaming that I'll be able to fit 2 seats + a booster in my Yaris?

I've just recently found out that I'm pregnant. This was sort of a plan but it wasn't supposed to happen for 2 more years. In any case right now I have my 3 and 6 year olds in Frontiers. The seats take up most of the back seat of our Yaris. Most likely by the time this baby is born dd1 will be using the frontier as a booster. I'm wondering if I may be able to squeeze 2 radians in there with the Frontier. What do you think?

We just leased the car this time last year and are supposed to be leasing it for another 3 years. I LOVE this car. It's so fuel efficient and I'm not sure that we can afford to upgrade to something larger (and still have a new car).

Do you have any other suggestions? I'm in Canada so my options are limited.

I don't think you'll be able to fit the Frontier in a 3-across. Three Radians might work.

I've just realized that I didn't specify that we have a sedan not a hatchback. I think we get a little extra room in the back.

Unfortunately, my DH has a Prius with even more seat and headroom than your Yaris, and we can't fit 3 across. I agree that maybe a smaller seat like the Radian might work, but I'm not sure I'd like to imagine the mechanics of getting people in, especially when one is RF - not to mention 2 potentially RF (depending on your LO's age).

Actually, harnessed seats are much easier than boosters in tight three-across situations -- they are not fun at all to get in, but once they're in, they're easier because all the buckles and harnesses are up front and not between the tightly wedged seats.

Yes.

Yaris

If it's possible, the it's going to be close, even with three Radians. I believe that the Radian is 17 inches wide, but you'll also need enough room to rear-face one of the seats, and the Radian is tall. We had three Radians across in a VW Golf, but I think the Golf is bigger than the Yaris. We rented a Yaris in London a few years ago, and it was seemed a lot smaller than the Golf.

Not possible, sorry. I also have a Yaris. I live in fear of getting pg for the same reason, lol.

I'm sorry. I simply don't think even 3 radians would work. I'm having a hard time envisioning 2 frontiers..lol..do they touch each other inthe middle?

Just in case anyone else needs info on this (since I know it's an old thread). I was able to fit a graco backless booster, graco safeseat (without the base) and a britax roundabout in the back of the yaris four door hatchback.
