Hello! My baby is almost 7 weeks- haven't weighed her recently, but she's over 10lbs and approx. 24 inches.
When she was first born, she didn't fit into the cloth diapers I had bought for her (pocket, OneSize), so we started using sposies- DH and I reassured ourselves that we would start CDing once she fit the diapers we had...
Well, she fits in the smallest setting now, but the diapers leak pee around her little thighs while I'm BFing! (bleh!)
I did a wet-test with water to see if maybe the diapers just weren't absorbing the pee well enough. They weren't, so I washed them again (having read somewhere that the more you wash them, the more absorbant they get). Tested them again, and they were doing a lot better.
We did alright till she had a big pee- then I got baptized again

How tight should these things be around her thighs? She's got a nice round belly, but thin legs and arms so maybe that's it? Maybe the brand I got isn't so great? I have Sweet Doll Baby (snaps) and My Baby (velcro). Currently the velcro My Baby's are the only ones I can get (what I thought was) a good fit on her.
Maybe the pee was too big? Should I double-up the inserts? I am also concerned about big poos- sometimes she goes 24 hours without a BM, then BOOM- butt-splosion!
I'm getting irritated here. I hate sposies, and I don't want to spend even MORE money on CDs... help?
