... because your kids need it.

Like sending them to pre-school and public school if you wanted to homeschool but they don't want.

Like letting them eat only the inside of the sandwich but not the crusts even though they have never seen that done by anyone and you totally put the filling up to the very, very edge and bake the crusts super soft.

Like organizing a playgroup.

Like checking out every children's CD from the library to see which ones are bearable and then letting your kid choose music every other time, and of course she chooses the children's discs. (Tapes, in my case, we have a beater...)

Like drinking coffee while breastfeeding. A lot of coffee.

Like going out to a restaurant with a newborn and a toddler. (Why? Because the refrigerator broke! Because the YMCA "cafe" ran out of bagels and we forgot our lunch on the counter. Because, because, because...)

Go for it.

So... everyone else's kids just act how you hoped they would?

I thought I was more inflexible than other moms on MDC. Maybe I'm actually a huge pushover and should stop.

elimination diet while breastfeeding a sensitive baby. I absolutely loathe it, but will do anything to make my lil guy better!
