No one else seemed to be volunteering, so I elected myself threadkeeper

Let me know if you want any additions/changes--please bold if possible so that I can find it.

I sorted out all of the people who hadn't posted in two months or more and moved them to a new category "Missing in Action". I haven't figured out how to decide on deletion especially as many of these people are probably active on other threads in Infertility.

That's All!

I’ve been waiting to join this forum, now that it’s a new month, seems like a good time!

Here’s my introduction and a little background. I’m Liz, 25 (26 next month) and working towards baby # 3. Got pregnant with my son easily, no complications. Then got pregnant first try with my daughter, who we unfortunately lost at 17 weeks in Dec 2007. We just started TTC again in April 09 with no luck after 5 months, and now some issues are coming up. We are currently taking a small break from TTC while I get things sorted out.

I still have breast milk from my loss so after not being able to conceive in 5 months of actively trying, I went in for some testing. My prolactin came back elevated, at 60, so I’m going in for an MRI on Friday to check for a pituitary tumor. Thyroid came back normal.

From charting I’ve learned that I’m ovulating late, and I’m probably only having a 7 day luteal phase. I was kind of lazy about charting last month, but I don’t think I even ovulated. Or if I did, it wasn’t until about day 30! Started my period on day 38, which is the latest ever. I’ve never had a cycle longer than 31. I think stress had a hand in that cycle though. We’ll see what happens this month. I’m also going in to have my progesterone tested this month.

Well, that’s where I’m at right now! I have a feeling I’m going to have some work ahead of me to get things in order, as they just keep getting more messed up. Figures, as soon as we stop TTA things get crazy! *sigh*

Hi! I'm Alexas! I'm 27, and married to DH, Bobby. We have DD (2), Macie, and have had m/c's in 2004 and 2009. I have suspected PCOS, and do not ovulate, or have a period. Both m/c's i conceived naturally, and lost before 6 weeks. I got pregnant on the first round of clomid (50mg) with Macie. I'm starting on clomid again on tuesday at 50mg and I'm really hoping it works as well this time around as it did last time!

Need support from someone who's 28 no, 27w4d along after nine years of "secondary" infertility who required multiple IVF rounds and finally had an FET transfer work? What I could tell you about just about every process out there...

*crickets*

This thread has been quiet lately . What has everyone been up to lately? Anyone have anything interesting (or not so interesting) going on?

We've been on a temporary break in procedures and such caused partly by finances and partly by the fact that we don't really know what we want to do next. I'm on cycle day 24 and starting to spot a little, so I guess AF will be soon .

Hi, I've been MIA for a few months, but you can update me!

We've been TTC #1 for 26 months and are waiting to start IUI #1 with donor sperm.
Hi I'm still here. I've been distracted with a difficult first week past my IVF ER/ET, currently 6dp a 2 day transfer.
I had some spotting, light bleeding and pretty bad cramping in the days following the ET which has worried me. I also had a UTI, and that is getting better now. We transferred 3 embryos and I'm just hoping now that the cramping didn't deter them from implanting. I was told it was part of my body's recovery and reaction to overstimulating.
Hoping and Praying...

Ladylaura, I hope I was able to help you a little with your premature ovulation question. That's just been my experience with it so far. Controlling the stimulation with some light suppression and triggering when the eggs are 20+. GL!

Hello and Hug to everyone else.
Also, Kelly I'm sorry you're at the "what's next" place. As far as looking into ivf, I would look at websites from major centers like SIRM, Stanford, etc. All ivf programs should break down the process on their websites. Then search the programs that are closest to you and get a feel for them as well. Price, protocol, doctors, procedures can differ from place to place. Good Luck

Hey poet, I've been thinking about you! You know, we joined MDC around the same time, I think, so I've seen you around here for SO LONG... we'd better graduate off this forum soon, man!

Thanks for your advice on the other thread - I hope that I don't actually have an issue with premature ovulation... I guess we'll see. I've decided to start Clomid in the next cycle, so let's hope that does the trick.....!

Boy isn't that the truth? I was on the TTC#1 in our 30's thread for like 2.5 yrs before I just gave up on that whole board altogether. Trying to conceive. Um, trying to not lose my mind while everyone else conceives. Yeah, let's get out of here!

I was thinking about you more and I think since you are not ovulating early or anything, that maybe the trick of clomid will pump up those eggs and give them that extra push. Good Luck with it!

I am going to copy something from the IVF thread here. It was a Summer IVF and I'm sort of the straggler, so I'll try coming over here more. I have a week left to the wait and I can tell, I am a little needy

We did a 7 day progesterone read and it was 47.7. I've always had low progesterone and it's never been higher than 15 on a medicated cycle for me. That seems really good to me since I am using suppositories and they don't really register in your bloodstream/reflect in the blood draw. I asked again today if the embryos could still implant with all that cramping and you know, they give such neutral answers. We'll know next week....Could be alright....I know you're not supposed to extrapolate from a progesterone draw either, but this seems good, no?
I guess I want someone to tell me what can't be told. I made an appt. for an acup treatment tomorrow.
