Vitamin B6 and Breastfeeding

Hello,
My doctor has prescibed me Vit B6 for my bad PMS. But now I have read that it can decrease breastmilk supply if you take it high doses. From the information I can get on the internet, I haven't found out how high it is when it starts decreasing the supply.I don't know if I should start toying around with it in the first place. Has anybody heard of this issue before? My daughter is 15 months old and my G.P recons it's time to wean her, but I really don't want to at this stage as I am planning to carry on untill she wants to stop. And during my down PMS times, it really helps me focus on my daughter and creates a loving feeling.

I think Jack Newman may have some info about B6 on his website. I seem to remember that he suggests it for treating vasospasms. www.drjacknewman.com
