great exemption story

so, i am a selective vaxer but ds's pre-school wanted him to get everything he needed for kindergarten at 4. so, rather than explain that i'm not going to vax him for chicken pox nor heb a or b at this point, i decided to try for the exemption.

and it was awesome!! the director of the pre-school wanted me to talk to the other mamas about the process since she didn't know much about it. how cool is that?

and i live in totally rural nevada so i was getting ready for it to be difficult and it wasn't. now i can vax on my schedule rather than theirs

thanks! we even talked a little bit about the vaxes, she told me that she got chicken pox after getting the vax and it was horrible! we also discussed the "religious" exemption and how that basically meant any religion at all due to freedom of religion and how it isn't really advertised at all that they even offer exemptions.

i wasn't sure if she'd want me to be all secretive about it so as not to get a stampede of exemptions or if it was cool, so i'm really glad to know it was cool
