Pls help me decide: Is it worth getting a Moby & a Pikkolo?

Okay, I am due in a month, and here is what I already have:
-Hotsling
-Ella Roo Ring Sling
-Kozy MT
-Ella Roo MT
-Ergo

However, out of all of those none worked well for me in the newborn days. It was really difficult to get my son in and out of the hotsling, I never got the hang of the ring sling, and he hated the froggy position so the MTs didn't work until he was older. As an older baby and toddler I loved the MTs and Ergo. The only carrier that I actually ended up using in the first couple of months was the dreaded Baby Bjorn. I didn't really know better at the time, and the truth is that he was comfortable in it!
I have planned all along on getting a moby for this new one, but here are my concerns: is it good for going for long walks (is it very stable)? will I end up hating the fact that it isn't just a pop in and go kind of thing? will it be hard to get the baby out of it? But for the price and the amount of good reviews, it seems like it may be worth trying it...
The pikkolo seems like a good option for me since the baby bjorn actually worked for us in the beginning, and it seems that this can achieve a similar position except better for baby and for my shoulders! On the other hand, it seems crazy spending that kind of $ when I already have a ergo, which is so similar. I have looked into the newborn insert for the ergo and don't like that option. I suppose I could sell the pikkolo when she is ready for the ergo.

Thoughts?

Thanks!!

Editing to add- I looked into the blue celery which I think would be a great option, but it just seems like it is way overpriced.

well, I just posted my own what should I get, but when I'm looking in it is much easier....
I have never been a pouch person and based on what you say about the hotsling, I would not go with the blue celery as that is two pouches to try and get in and out of and it is expensive. I agree on the ring slings especially for newborns. The only one that works for me at that age are the really thick padded ones. I have been looking at the piccolo but my babe is already 6mo. I have been using a knit wrap up to this point and I really loved the cuddliness of it. The babe can be in soooo many different positions, but I used the cross cradle in the beginning (sleeping, nursing, googly eyeing) and as she got bigger we have done some version of the cross carry. I left my wrap on all the time and was able with some practice to pop her in and out with minimal adjustment. This was my first baby using a wrap and I felt a little out of sorts in the beginning, but it just takes a little bit of time and patience. You are a head in the game as you already know what worked for you last time....that's not to say this little one will be the same.

Out of your Kozy and Ellaroo which one do you like better?

I'd wait on the Pikkolo, since you already have mei tais and also Ergo, but a stretchy wrap is really nice with newborns and a lot of mamas really enjoy them. I also used a ring sling a lot with my kids and you do get better at babywearing with each kid, so you never know...the ring sling may just kick in for you this time around!

Thanks for the replies!
Munchkingirl- I like my ellaroo better. The fabric feels a little bit thicker and softer, it has better head support, and is a little bit narrower in the crotch, which my son preferred. The kozy may have been better when he got bigger, but once he was a lot heavier the ergo was more comfortable for me than a regular MT.

I have a Pikkolo and couldn't get DD into it until almost 3 months. It does cinch down at the crotch unlike the Ergo, but is still too wide for a newborn, imo. She never liked her legs folded in it. She did love forward facing in it at first, but got used to tummy to tummy within a few weeks. So as much as I love my Pikkolo, if you already have an Ergo, go with that.

The newborn cinch in thing is still too wide for a newborn - I used it at 6 weeks with legs out. I did froggy leg in my mei tai and pikkolo for the first 6 weeks. SO......skip the Pikkolo and get a Moby.

wow mama! i'm envious of your great babywearing stash!
i'd vote moby. my 7 month old still gets carried in it often (he's a peanut, though.)
we didn't have it for the newborn stage but i think i would have been in heaven if we had. we only had a sling and a front type carrier. he hated the hotsling but did ok in the carrier, but i worried about his posture so he wasnt in it much. (it was the infantino kind- shower gift..)

I vote stretchy wrap. And it does not have to be a Moby. I have made quite a few wraps as gifts with cotton jersey knit fabric from the fabric store. Between 5-6 yards is needed, then just cut in half length-wise. You then have two wraps! I have found most of mine in the clearance sections of fabric stores for about $3 per yard, so under $20 for two wraps.

What about the infant insert for the ergo? My dd loved the infant insert until she was about 5months and too big for it.

Thanks for all the replies!!
I will definitely get a Moby.
Moonlight mom-- I watched the video for the infant insert and it just looked like kind of a pain and also like a bit of an awkward position for the baby- I could see that some babies would love it and others might hate it...but you're probably right that I shouldn't just rule it out completely.
