Maybe dumb question

what does apron style and non apron style mean? If they go around your waist aren't they all apron stlye, cause that is where I would tie one. Does it just mean structured and unstructred (i.e. padded waist band)? Thanks, Tara

This is not a dumb question at all. It's a little hard to explain, but apron style is when you take a mei tai for instance and you hold it or let it hang up side down as you tie it with the outside of the carrier against you. It creates more of a pocket/seat. Non apron style is when you tie the carrier to yourself right side up and with the inside of the carrier against you.

Often times, carriers that don't have padded waists are tied apron style and carriers with padded waists are tied non apron style.

Hope that helps and that it wasn't too confusing.
