My dd has been getting red marks on her bum on the edges where the elastic goes around her legs. I mean they even scar which makes me so sad. Last night I put her in a luxe baby wool cover with a TFF underneath. No red marks but the diaper definitely wasn't enough to hold all of the pee. I have done some research on here and it seems a lot of people use doublers. Where do I find these and do you put them on the inside of the diaper next to baby's skin? And lastly, for those of you who use wool at night - what is your favorite system - including type of wool cover and whatever you used inside.

Doublers lay inside the fitted then the wool cover goes on.
I love a Crickett's hemp fitted (w/ included doubler) under an Aristocrat's or Disana soaker or longie. Imse Vimse Bumpy Covers (wrap style) or my FAVORITE Natural Blue Cloud on etsy - she has organic wool soakers and wraps.
YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE SCARRING FROM DIAPERS - Do not using anything that causes scarring (a scar comes from a wound). A red line that goes away is normal - some kids get red where they are touched but scarring?????? Not normal!
When I don't use a fitted I use a prefold with a flat folded up as a doubler or a premie sized prefold tri folded as a doubler.....under a wool cover - no leaks, no red marks and an easy solution.
My babies haven't gotten red marks from Crickett's diapers...

They look like the normal red marks that occur with most diapers but they just don't go away. They fade substantially so no one would really notice unless I point them out. And I know they are there so it breaks my heart. I think part of the problem is her thighs are super chunky compared to her waist. So diapers just don't fit her well. I think the elastic becomes to tight around her legs in order for me to get it tight enough around her waist- if that makes any sense. The luxe baby did great on her I think because it isn't tight around the legs. But because it goes further down her leg - I also didn't have to worry about the pee coming out. Thanks for the suggestions.
