1 mil PUL for diapers?

It's been about four years since I've sewed any diapers. I remember at that time, it was recommended on a few sites to use 2 mil PUL for diapers and save the 1 mil (thinner coating) for other projects, pads, etc. But I see a lot of sites now selling the 1 mil in diaper cuts, etc. Does it work just as well for you? Is it more likely to wick or anything? (I'm thinking PUL poly knits, not wovens, cottons, etc)

I have used it and it didnt seem to be that different, it isnt as thick however. How is it going for you?

I've only ever used 1mil PUL and I love it It's worked amazingly for me! The only 2mil PUL I've ever had has been some DIY PUL with a cotton outer and for that, I figure it's okay to do 2mil. I find the 1mil far easier to sew with also!

I used 1 mil PUL and "breathable" PUL to make some pocket diapers about a year and a half ago. The 1 mil ones didn't get as much use because I didn't like the color as much, and used it on my earlier, slightly clumsier efforts, but it's held up fine. The breathable PUL, OTOH, leaks all over the place and seems to have completely lost its waterproofing (after about a year). So yeah, 1 mil seems to be fine.
