After hearing the horror stories about Ebay dipes, I was wondering just how many of us have bought them, and if everyone had a horrible experience.

I would also like to hear some more stories... good or bad!

I have 30+ Coolababies, both pocket and AIO, and I absolutely love them. They are equal in quality to FB and BG. After 6 months they still look and perform like new. I don't have a single complaint about the quality, price, service, etc... Only downside is that they are not true one-sizes, they'd be way too big for a baby under 15 lbs or so.

If I had all the money in the world, or if I'd known we'd end up ECing, I might have chosen something else but all in all I am very happy and highly recommend Coolababies.

I have had mixed experiences. I think there are enough people now who have bought from different ebay vendors to get an idea of what your getting.
Nubunz for instance, are awesome. It is a fledgling company (made in USA) that I am very very please with ( 2 dipes for $12!),
There are some made-in-china knock off Sweet doll babies that are okay, but I have to wash them cold and always line dry - or the PUL will melt.
I have also been pleased with Kawaii baby one size covers and am now waiting on a lot of Minky dipes I won.
I am also waiting on made in USA Softie Baby mama pads and OV pocket dipe.

If you see something you like, just ask about it on any diaper forum - somebody is bound to have tried it.

I've had a mix of experiences. My Coolababies are now starting to wear out (the PUL is coming apart from hot water) My Wonderworks are well, but now that they are on baby#2 some of the elastic is starting to fail.

I have bought prefolds, Fuzzi Bunz and other wrap style covers with no issues. I did with ds 6 years ago and again for this little one.

I bought prefolds and covers from a ebay seller called Granitesmiths (?) they are an actual brick/morter diaper service company who also sells on ebay. My items were great and exactly what I wanted (quality/shipping/pricing) In fact Im planning on buying from again.

I picked up a bunch of Piper's Closets... and while I can't speak for their longevity at this point, they're beautifully made, lush and soft. Not sure about the wool covers yet (wool crepe, seem a little stiff) - but I haven't prepped those yet, since they're a larger size.

I knew there had to be some good experiences out there too!

I just got a brand new one size Rainbow BB in the mail (I spent $6) and I am impressed! The quality is excellent and the fit is super trim. They come with two thinnish inserts. But I like the fit MUCH better than my one size Fuzzi Bunz. The fleece is the softest and thickest I have ever seen. It has a fleece flap on the inside of the pocket so the PUL never touches the skin. And it has that strip of PUL inside in the front (the soft side of the PUL) so it doesn't wick. We'll see how they hold pee! :

I purchased off Granitesmith probably 8 years ago or longer and never had a problem.
Ebay is iffy. You sort of really have to rely on feedback. If the company has a long history of good feedback I would buy from them -- little feedback AND a diaper manufacturer -- I would personally not buy from them.
