Bullied by Doctor- Need a New Doctor in MD

Thread Starter
I was at the doctor's today and the doctor actually said we need to find a new doctor elsewhere if we do not want vaccinations for our child. I'm worn down by the constant vax bullying and don't want to got back to this doctor's office.

I need a NEW no vax, or vax friendly doctor in Maryland - Gaithersburg, Rockville, Germantown area. Please help!

Sorry that happened to you. s That is against the APA guidelines. Everyone laughes at me when I tell them that doctors do this.

I suggest that you cross post your need in Finding Your Tribe forum. And good luck.

~OR~ I suggest that you look for a general practitioner. Or perhaps go to a naturopath, health food store or chiropractor and ask for a referral.

This could be the start of something good!

My doctor in PA basically did the same thing, and they've got signs posted all over the office saying that parents who don't agree with their vaccination policy should find another place to go. I only found one familiy doc so far, and I have to pay out of pocket, so am very discouraged!

Someone should start a list somewhere, not here, that lists the names of doctors who bully and fire their patients.

Who knows how this will change or stay the same when there is a national health plan. How is this handled in Mass.?

I just wanted to add to suggest that you could also go to a midwife or a LLLI meeting and ask.

looking for a Doctor too

Im new to the forum and so glad to find others with the same concerns over this swine flu vaccine. Reading about additive squalene was enough for me..

I am also looking for a Doctor that will work with us. Im in the Raleigh , Durham area of NC. Can someone point me to the proper place to try and find a Doc?

In mass we are asked to sign a form declining vaxes. Its usually not a big deal here from what I have experienced.

Sorry that happened. It's happening here in Fl where I am too. I have other moms tell me thier ped told them to go to another dr if they won't vax thier kids. I didn't think that was allowed.

Most likely because they haven't experienced it for themselves and it seems silly for it to be a possibility.

Happened to us as well. We saw a naturopath about 6 months later and another 7 months later, we haven't seen anyone else. Had to pay for the naturopath out of pocket and I think the bill was around $200. I wonder what makes a doctor of any sort think an hour of their time is worth more than 20 times as much as ours. At that rate, the only time we'll ever see one is in an emerency.

I'm sorry that happened to you. We used to live in Gaithersburg and the same thing happened when I decided to stop vaccinating DS. We moved shortly after so I didn't find a more relaxed ped in the area. I hope you find someone!
