Using prefold material...

Anyone make diapers doing that? I'm getting all new diapers (woo hoo! ) but am VERY particular. I've been using prefolds for 2 years and LOVE them. However, I'm tired of folding and Snappis. I love prefitteds because it's the best of both worlds. No one seems to be doing prefitteds anymore and while I have converted mine I am a novice sewer. I want someone who *knows* what they are doing.

I was just looking at VeryBaby's site knowing she seels prefold material. Has anyone bought the material for them but made fitteds from a pattern? Does it not work out the same way as a prefitted? I want that classic absorbancy/awesomeness but I am so done and want a fitted set up. I normally use Kissaluv 0's until they are big enough for prefolds (crazy tiny babies) but would like to streamline my stash this go round.

They're pf twill and birdseye are great! Since i started off with prefolds i'm just not satisfied with the absorbency of any other fabrics. I made contours with my birdseye and they're awesome. also if u start to feel adventurous this is a good prefitted tutorial http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/...d.php?t=360788

I love that tutorial! I converted a bunch last year with that one. I just haven't ever had a newborn for that style of diaper (I use Kissaluv 0's for newborns) so I'm not sure about sizing. I do not want a diaper that doesn't fit. I have small babies so it's tough for me.

When you used the twill did you get the gauze too? Since you've done contours with it, do you think a fitted entirely out of it would work?
