So I'm almost 31, have a very stable house hold, love my family, we're not strugglin to make ends meet, our car is big enough for lots of kids etc. Rewind a bit, my half brother (he's 19) joined the Army right out of highschool, and got stationed at Ft Bragg NC, we visited him a few times, picked him up and brought him to Raleigh a few times for the weekend etc. Well he just shipped out to Afganistan last weekend and asked that I come see him off, so I did and we announced the pregnancy to him them. He then asked me to lift a very heavy bag of his and I refused because I'm not straining myself in the 1st tri for anyone period! He then complains that I'm only 4-5 weeks pregnant and do we really "want another one". I tell him that I've been pregnant 10 times and not risking this little one for him and anyone else. he then says "does dad know?" um, no, why would I share all that with him, we're not even that close. He packs up, I see him off, and drive home at midnight. The next morning my stepmom calls to see if he seemed ok when he left, i lie and say he was great (he told me to BTW) and then I say, well I have some news, and she reponds, haha we already know. I then say Cody is such a big mouth, why would he do that. She just giggles and says he just wanted us to know. WTF?!?!?!?! He's a 19 year old kid that slept in the floor in my guest room while they were visiting so he could be close to his mommy, why does he get to announce MY pregnancy. DH was so mad at him for this. Now of course, he's away in the middle of the WAR and we can't even tell him we're up set, and gett his, he ask them to call me and say he's there because he didnt' want to "waste his phone card minutes" calling me himself.............are you kidding?!?!?!? I waited with him for 5 hours before he left, took him to dinner, and ignored my DH's and BFF's calls wondering what was taking me so long, just so he didn't have to be alone. UGH!!!!!!!!!
