Help me and my NB avoid thrush/yeast while on antibiotics

I'm currently on penicillan and nursing my 18 day old newborn. I tend to always get a yeast infection when on penicillan and want to be really proactive with avoiding yeast this time. I'm taking the penicillan every 8 hours and 2 hours after taking it I take a dose of probiotics and give the baby a dose of baby probiotic powder. I'm also taking garlic tablets, vitamin C, and doing the occasional vinegar rinse on my nips and using vinegar in my peri bottle a couple of times a day. Is there anything else I can or should be doing to prevent yeast? I've managed to avoid thrush with my 2 other babies and don't want to get it now!

Also, if I get a vaginal yeast infection should I assume I also have thrush and treat for that?

The only suggestion I'd give is to change your breastpads really regularly, especially if you use washable ones. Keep your nipple area dry between feedings!
