DD has four teeth... both bottom and top central incisors. Sometimes when she BFs her top ones make indents in my areolas and it hurts.
Well today, she was nursing and her latch was pretty bad, but she was all fidgety and I didn't bother fixing it. Well, her top teeth were digging in and really starting to hurt, so I unlatched her and noticed a little bump where her teeth were on my aerola.... almost like a little tiny skin tag or something! It really hurt and I had to position my breast so that her teeth were not touching that area. The bump is still there. It wasn't there before she started feeding that one time. What is it? What should I do about it? will it go away if I just leave it?

I thought maybe it was a nipple bleb or blister, but according to my Dr. jack Newman book those only occur on the actual nipple, not the aerolas. And it's not blister like.
