She's on the nasal cannula for now, has been since Friday. She's nursing, but tires VERY quickly, and is only able to take about 12cc from either breast or bottle (good news is she's an easy latcher!) She's still on oxygen and they are thinking of reducing her flow in the next few days, but very slowly as she's still really struggling. We thought we'd be able to go home today, but that's not going to happen. We'll be here for at least the rest of the week. God, it's so hard seeing my sweet baby hooked up to lines, not being able to eat. She's so alert though, bright eyes looking around all the time. And the smiles! She's a super smiley (and early!) baby. I think she's going to be really laid back, she hardly ever cries.
Anyways, things are progressing, just very slowly. Dh and I are so exhausted I can barely move, and the girls' are just fried. We miss home. I haven't even rested since I gave birth, not even one nap.
