Then two nights ago I noticed I had a very small new mole between my big toe and second toe. I immediately thought of your sister. The next day I made an appointment with my NP. I just went in this afternoon and she defintley thought it was strange and biopsied it right then and there.

I feel so lucky to have read your post when I did. I have alot of moles and they have never been any trouble, and in the past probably would not have thought anything of this little one. But since I had read your story, I knew I should have it checked right away.

Not trying to hijack your thread, but wanted to give you an update. I truly feel like your story was the first step for me in the right direction. As I said above I had a strange mole on my toes, and that came back just fine. But it did lead to having the rest of my skin checked and I ended up having basal cell carcinoma right next to my right eye. I had surgery two months ago and things are going well now. But I just want you to know you just never know how sharing your story might help someone else, thanks.
