He was born 9/4/9 at 10:52pm and weighed 9lb 8z and was only 19" long
I had a c-sec - no real surprise there, but am ok with it. He was sunny side up, and had his arm by his head, and was a lot bigger than I was expecting. I guess he actually was a big baby. I made it through 8 hrs of pit ctx with out an epidural but got one after my bp stopped cooperating and I was confined to bed. Even though I went in at a stretchy 4cm and 70-80% effaced, there was no real change in the 12 hrs I was in labor. I'm very glad we had our doula there - with out here I wouldn't feel so positive about this. My milk is in and nursing is going on though we're still working on latch issues. The baby has not left my side since he was born
I'm still processing some of the parts of the section - not guilt or mourning, but I have a surgery fear and it was terrifying to me.
Wyatt is Dh's grandmother's maiden name and Hollis is a family name on both sides.
