3rd baby and 1st UC

Just found out I'm pregnant yesterday. We are still in the shock stage. I had a hospital birth with our 1st, a homebirth with our 2nd and after our 2nd we talked about UP/UC

I feel so free, but a little nervous at the same time. I feel like I'm really taking charge of my pregnancy and birth this time around.

I've been reading up on UC for a little over 2 years now. I'm still nervous though! Is that feeling normal and if so when does it go away?

Congrats on the new babe!!!

I'm planning my second UC in Dec and still had a few moments of nervousness, though after watching the birth video I put together from ds hospital birth and that went out the window and was replaced with a strong desire to avoid that for this baby and our family.

Researching more, reading birth stories ( I read the bad hospital ones too sometimes and that helps affirm my own decision to UC), watching birthing videos is great too.

I've already pictured bringing this baby into the world. I know plans change, but it helped me to see the birth the way i wanted it to be. That's what I did with dd2.

I'll find videos on youtube as well. I'm so glad my husband is on board.
