What do you add to your kids smoothies to make them healthier and boost their immune system?

flax seed oil? protein powder? vitamins?

My son and I used to share smoothies and I would add vitamins, ground flax seed, and sometimes spinach. It was actually for me more than him, I couldn't take pills while I was pregnant.

Kefir. It is a little too tangy for me to drink by itself, so I put it in a smoothie. Sometimes I freeze it in ice cube trays and toss 3 or 4 in at a time to give it a good thick texture.

Ditto to what everyone else said. Plus Bee Pollen, I'm crazy about that stuff! I also like to add spirulena of alfalfa on somedays. My dd and I share a very large smoothie every morning with a bowl of granola or bread.
