swiss chard

Thread Starter
Over a week ago I transplanted some swiss chard into our square foot garden. A few days after being planted, I noticed that the leaves have some light brown spots. I just don't know what to do about them.. Should I pull them? Can I treat it? I'd hate to lose my swiss chard.

Please help!

I don't really know alot about how to answer, but know your question has been here a few days with no reply, so I'll try.

I've grown swiss chard for a few years. I've learned that the leaves towards the outside often turn brown, wilt and die, but the rest are perfect. Usually it's just one or two at a time. I just let them shrivel, then pick them off.

Even if you lose a couple of leaves per plant this way, you'll still have a ton left. And, harvest often. The more you pick, the more grow.
