"real" cups are just fine for home, but I can't imagine handing a regular water bottle or a "real" cup back to DS in the car - thats where sippy or straw cups are, for us at least 100% neccasary. I'm just not OK with pulling over to change DS' clothes every 15 minutes cause' their soaked, even if it is "just water"!!
