West-end Ottawa get together?

I am finally getting my act together trying to meet some moms and babes. I moved here in February (the long way, via BC, Connecticut, Florida...we're Air Force, thus constant moving!). My daughter is 20 months, I stay at home. I briefly tried the Ottawa AP meet-up group but can't be bothered to conform to their posting-hosting-attendance rules, although they do sound lovely. Perhaps I'm just too lazy!

Anyway, if any other Ottawa moms would like to get together to enjoy this beautiful weather, let's plan something. I'm on the Kanata/Stittsville border, so west-end certainly works better for me, but I'm up for whatever is going.

We're in Kanata (Katimavik), so we must be pretty close to one another! Our days are kind of booked up these days, but Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday mornings are free for us...
Where were you thinking of meeting? A park? Walter Baker is a nice one, so is Andrew Haydon...

I'm up for anything outside to take advantage of this nice weather while we have it. Do you want to aim for this Friday the 25th in the morning? Hopefully we can get a few others to join us. I've never been to Andrew Haydon park so that would be nice, or Walter Baker is just down the street from me. Either - you pick!

Sorry I missed your post...Friday would've been out for us anyway, so want to try another time? We're free in the morning tomorrow (28th) or Wednesday (30th).

Ugh, we've been out of commission with a cold the past week. Want to try for something the next week? Monday-Thursday would work, and maybe we'd get better weather. That would be October 5-8, and maybe someone else will pop up here in the meantime. Let's say Walter Baker, it's nice and close for me too.
