I don't know if I ever posted in the DDC but I definitely read it regularly so I feel like I know many of you guys a bit even if you neverheard of me! I didn't realize there was an original roll call or that the club would keep going after Oct - I never posted a birth story, but it was a beautiful home birth. (I can say it was beautiful now - at the time I thought it was HELL! But I was always glad to be home.) Anyway, here's our stats if you want to add us.

Cool! I love her name. I'm so glad we changed it from what we originally settled on. I prefer the spelling Mae, but May is my grandmother's middle name, so I decided to spell it the way hers is. I don't really know why we decided to put the H on Lilah - I'm sure people will misspell it all the time, but I we just liked it that way

My sentiments EXACTLY! I had a homebirth, very gentle and peaceful (for the baby, at least!). At the time, I thought I thought it was absolute HELL, and immediately afterwards I wanted to call all the other women I know who have had multiple children and ask them if they were CRAZY because I was thinking at the time, "never again!" but all that has faded now and I can see the beauty of the experience and I even want to do it again already!

I, also, didn't submit my birth announcement, so here it is... albeit quite a bit late!
