Template is messed up in Internet Explorer

My template Blogger Minima, which I've modified fairly extensively. I use Firefox as my browser on both of my computers, a MacBookPro and and iMac, and the template looks the same on both computers.

On my husband's two pcs running Windows (XP, I think, but I'm not up on Microsoft stuff so I'm not sure,) it looks fine, though displays a different font, which isn't a problem. He also uses Firefox.

Visiting my sister last month, I looked at my blog on her pc, and the template was a mess! She uses Internet Explorer. I'm wondering if this is an issue others who have modified blogger templates have had to deal with?

I have no idea how I would even address this, I'm just a beginner at this stuff...it seems like any changes I'd make to make it look better in IE would mess it up in Firefox. (For a while I just thought that I didn't really care because I hate Microsoft anyway, but it bugs we that my blog looks so bad to some readers.)

Ugh. IE can be sooo fussy.

Since I'm not sure if it is the blog listed as your homepage or not, can you post your link so we can troubleshoot? (since I'm asking it should be fine) I have an iMac (5? years and still going strong) and a netbook with XP and DH has a Vista laptop for work. I can take a peek and try to see what's different.

This is the blog. (It is the same as the homepage.)

Thank you so much for looking at it. I kind of freaked out when I saw it on my sister's computer because it looked so bad. Okay, it wasn't that bad, but there were lots of issues with margins. I had thought that looking at it on 4 different computers was enough, but I didn't think to check it on other browsers!

Edited to add: I just thought to check it on Safari and it looks okay, except for the placement of the links in the header. That was one of the issues I noticed in IE but it was much worse. I'm thinking that getting rid of the borders around the links will help. I'm not really sure that I like them there anyway.

I haven't compared the code in both browsers yet. I'm sorry! Here's a bump so others can peek, too.
