Peanut Oil, good or bad?

I was checking out prices yesterday and i can get a gallon of peanut oil at walmart for about 18$, is this a better alternative than corn, soybean, or canola in regards to less probability that it is made with GMO's? I don't think i can afford organic oil right now and since the others corn, soybean and canola are the most likely to be GMO, i was thinking that peanut oil could be okay. We have no nut allergies in the family btw.

According to the Weston Price article on good vs bad oils:

Quote:
Peanut Oil contains 48% oleic acid, 18% saturated fat and 34% omega-6 linoleic acid. Like olive oil, peanut oil is relatively stable and, therefore, appropriate for stir-frys on occasion. But the high percentage of omega-6 presents a potential danger, so use of peanut oil should be strictly limited.
