Is Macrobid safe? Uti questions, too.

Have a uti. Was prescribed macrobid. Supposedly safe, but my research says only if baby is 1 month or older. My girl is twelve days.

I also need to avoid yeast infections in both, including thrush.

Is there a safer, more natural treatment?
