And I also agree that this is NOT for kids. I let my kids watch a lot of stuff that most parents cringe at but there is no way I would let them watch it.

This show is soooooo over the top!! I have to really suspend reality when I watch. I get that it's theatrics, the whole thing is like a farce or a play. But sometimes I'm just like... REALLY?

The jocks put the kid in the wheelchair in the port-a-potty and they're going to turn it over? REALLY? I don't think so. The snobbiest jock/prep I ever met in HS would never have done that in a million years. In real life, athletes get kicked off the team for acting up. And, besides, most of them are all goody-goody, at least in public, even if it's an act.

Also, the crazy wife says, "I'm working my ass off, 4 hours a day, 3 days a week here!" with a straight face. REALLY?? I just... can't imagine anyone saying that.

Tonight was SO much better! It was laugh out loud funny. That scene on the football field had me rolling.

I really thought this episode was much better than last week, too.

I totally know someone who would say something like this. I've heard someone say that she didn't have time to make a salad for herself because she had to work 8 hours that day (no kids either). LOL. Be glad you don't have that girl in your family.

The Kurt storyline last night was GREAT.

However, the Quinn/Finn/mohawkdude/batshit wife thing was SO obvious and predicatble. I saw ALL of that coming. Disappointing.

LOVE!! the show but dang, do cheerleaders own any oher clothing than their cheer outfits??
Yeah, they're losing DH because of the predictability.

Predictability doesn't bother me. I'm not looking to be surprised, just to have a good time and be entertained...so they still have me.

Loved the episode.

i agree with other criticisms i have heard of the my recent episode-the show has it in for women. every women on the show has something really wrong with them-TWO diff women trapping men with pregnancy, the cheer coach is insane, the counselor is mental with cleaning issues, the glee girl is ready to ditch her friends for fame, theres a girl with a stutter, and the other girl is (oh no) fat.

then the men are all stand up guys, both high school guys are willing to be a dad, the dad of the gay guy accepts him, etc...

its like, what issues does the creator have with women? and do you have to be so blatant about it?

wow - I see all the male characters portrayed as flawed too, not just the females. I don't get a woman hating vibe off ot the show, personally.

I agree. The men are way flawed. You've got the balding pervy dude in the kimono, the Glee coach himself is just well let's just say he's got issues, the football coach is a dufus, the mohawk dude is a cougar chaser and a womanizer- he slept with his bf's girl, and sweet little football star has to think about mail or he.....

I think they're all pretty messed up.

I just love, love, love it. Kurt is adorable -- I *loved* when he insisted on doing it "his" way -- You go, Girl! And I loved that carwash number -- I didn't really notice the cheerleaders too much -- that girl has a terrific voice, and I loved the song (I'd never heard it before).

Plus, Will is super hot, especially when performing as a acafella! He has great, natural moves. Is there a smilie that is fanning itself?

I really think all of the singing is wonderful.

I agree, there are messed up male characters, too, but it still seems like there are "everyman" type guys that we're supposed to be relating to, and no female characters like that. I think they are doing slightly better with Rachel, but she still is kind of just the crazy girl storming out and ditching Glee for Caberet... I don't know. It's just a small imbalance for me right now.

I LOVE Kurt and I loved the singing in the busted out your windows, even if that plotline and the dancing/clothing in that number was bizarre.

Did anyone see tonight's episode?
I thought the singing was wonderful. What an amazing mix of songs...Broadway, current music, and 70's/80's hits (though I can't remember when Queen's hit came out). I just loved this episode. To me, each episode is better than the last one.

I like the combination of snarkiness/soap opera/sweetness of this show.

I thought it was great too, but Rachel still gets on my nerves. I keep trying to find something likeable about her--maybe that'll happen on next week's episode.
