already have a use!

So 5 yo ds was sent home from school with diarrhea today. I guess he pooped in the classroom and made a big mess. I've been/he's been very fortunate through his life so far and he hasn't ever had recurring diarrhea, although there's a first time for everything.

So in the interest of wanting to avoid TOO much of a mess if it comes back, I took one of our infant prefolds that have been sitting waiting for Baby to arrive, and stuffed it in his underwear, spreading the back open in the interest of helping to "catch" it.

I'm a complete newb to this all, so maybe there was a better solution or maybe I should have doubled up, but quite honestly, I was so excited to actually have them on hand to try, just in case.

It's amazing how practical cloth diapers, wipes, etc., are! Hope the little guy feels better soon!!

Thanks for the well-wishes, everyone! He is feeling much better. It never recurred - yea! - but I was glad to have it covered, just in case.
