Ninja Flu vaccine subversion

Or something like that.

I work at a hospital. Every table in the cafeteria has this little sign detailing the what, why and how of the coming flu vaccine. "do it for you, your family, and your patients", ick. My attempts to remove these signs have been thwarted as every day the ones i have removed are replaced. Today there is a giant poster board in the hallway with much the same message, with some extra details thrown in.

So I have decided to do a little ninja anti-vaccine work. I found a good article on vitamin D supplementation as swine flu protection and I am printing out about 50 copies and putting them right in front of the poster board as a take away leaflet. i know i could go with straight up anti- vaccine info, but if caught that probably wouldn't go over too well. At least this way I am sticking to the topic of the flu.....

that is awesome! I too work at a hospital and am so sick of seeing all the posters that are pretty much saying I will kill small children if I don't get the flu shot I just ordered some Vit D suplements (since we will no longer be outside quite so much) from vitacost and got them today, I also give my family cold liver oil with a high content vit A and D in it. I would LOVE if you woud post a link to that article about the vit D so I could send it to my IL's who are really upset that we are not giving our kids either flu shot.

Rock on! I love spreading the word on Vitamin D. I'm taking 10,000 IUs/day (nursing still). I'm feeling better than ever! I tell everyone I know.

How much can I give my kids per day? I have an 8, 5, and 22 month old? It is in our CLO (625 iu) but I just bought some vitD3 supplements for them that are 1,000iu...can they all 3 take them? should they take more than 1 a day? I guess there is probably a better place to post this question, uh?

LOVE IT.

I considered something like this for my syllabi this semester. We were (are) getting emails every day saying how we should accommodate students in our flexible attendance policies and reminders for the vaccine. I wanted to put links in to Vit. D research articles in my syllabi instead.
