Wow, I thought the judges were pretty cantankerous last night! I didn't find the first 3 dances as bad as they did! They were still pretty good, if not amazing. I did notice Peter and his partner struggling on the lifts at the end, and it even looked like her head hit and bounced on the floor in the final pose!

I'm sorry to see Peter and Bianca go! I would have liked to see more of them. They seemed like talented individuals!

I liked Ashleigh and Jakob, even though I'm not a big fan of A. I think the jokes about her being married are really getting old. Yes, we know they are married, but dancing is acting and we all understand you're going to act romantic with your partner for the sake of the dance. ok, ok, We get it!!!

And someone's gotta tell her about that hideous pink lipstick she wears when not in tv makeup!

Oooh, and I felt so bad for Ellenore's dress stuck in her shoe! For a while I was wondering if it was supposed to be like that! they were amazing, keeping their composure and doing such a great job on the dance!

I didn't get to watch it all until last night. I agree with most of what has been said.

I had to rewind a few times to see if Channing's head hit the floor on the last pose and I still couldn't tell.

I feel bad that Bianca left so early in the competition. You could tell that their fellow dancers were shocked. She just had so much personality. But I do think she wasn't very good in her gospel dance.

My favorite dance was the contemporary with Legacy and his partner. They are both really good but the choreography was the star.

I am getting really sick of the married comments too! Its annoying. Plus there is something about that girl that bothers me. She does try too hard to be sexy.

I'm really happy with Bianca and Peter going home. She's great at tap, but she's no where near the level she needed to be in other genres. And Peter just annoyed me. Like he couldn't dance without smiling. I loved the Stacey Tookey dance last night. And I was horrified at the Samba. It was so painful to watch. I'm also really glad that they finally updated their opening credits. Finally we see dancers from last season, doing something more interesting than the little hip wiggle and headstand from that last six seasons!

I really thought Channing was going to get seriously hurt in that dance. He was in no way skilled enough to be attempting some of those lifts.
I just have to admit that this show has caught my eye and I really love Ellenore. To stay in character with her heel caught and finish out the dance beautifully, she is my fav.Theres just something about her that I liked last week and this week.

I got sooo excited when I saw that they were doing a routine to Rachel Yamagata's Be your love. Every time I listened to that song I couldn't help but think that it would be great for a SYTYCD routine. They certainly didn't let me down either! I thought it was just beautiful and it's incredible what a difference a good partner made for Channing.

What was with Nigel today, he seemed to have a bug up his butt. I agreed with him on some things, but even if he was right he seemed a little harsh.

I agree about Nigel! Sometimes he gets like that, what's the deal??

I don't know who they'll send home! My only guess is Noelle, for the broadway routine. But even so, she really wasn't "bad" at all in my book, just not 100% the character that they wanted. They really didn't have negative comments about too many others...the quickstep by Pauline and Peter maybe. I can't guess which guy they'll send home, they all seemed to do well.

Even if hip hop wasn't Ryan and Ellenore's best genre, I can't imagine they'd send two of the top dancers home because of a not-so-great performance in a new style!

I actually totally agree with Nigel, and even with his tone - IMO if it's a popularity contest now, he needs to try to at least make *some* voters think about skill and adaptability across genres and not just vote for who they like personality wise best.

I wholeheartedly agreed with the assessment of the solos, especially for the women, they were lousy. I'm OK with who was sent home out of the bottom 3, but wish others would have been in the bottom 3 to select from

I'm okay with who went home, although I think Peter is a great dancer as well as very charismatic and perhaps one of the most adorable human beings to ever walk the planet.

I'm a bit surprised that Mollee and Nathan were not in the bottom three because they were so horrifically bad. But I don't think the judges would have voted them off anyway. They are popular, and I bet the judges pander a little to the audience at least for the sake of ratings. Yes, I am that cynical .

I actually found Ellenore's solo pretty interesting and didn't think Ryan's was half bad either, so I was a bit surprised by Nigel's across the board bashing of the solos. That said, I do agree with him that the dancing so far has not been up to par in general, and I have found this season to be a bit of a disappointment so far. I can't help but wonder if he was so ticked off because he was second guessing the judges choices for the top 20.

Who ever is dressing Cat should be fired immediately and NEVER ever allowed to work in the fashion industry again. Ever. One night they have her dressed in some horrible poo colored, skin tight, snake skin dress, she looked like a turd, poor Cat! The next night they have her wear a ridiculous GIANT Bug clip in her hair?! What are they thinking? I wonder if they are just messing with her, "hmmm what hidious crazy thing can I make her wear *this* week?" Bleh.

LOL, that is pretty funny b/c I think I read an article about her, and she styles HERSELF! So that must be her taste!

I have to admit, after several seasons her personality is finally growing on me. She does seem like a warm, caring person.

You know, I almost commented on Cat's wardrobe choice last week, but didn't have the heart. I love Cat. But yeah, I agree that the clothes are getting pretty atrocious. Gotta admire her for not being afraid to try new things though...no matter what the outcome.

My DH and I have been laighing at her wardrobe for ages! But, I love her she is quirky and a bit silly (kind of like her clothes!).

All I can say is holy CRAP what a good show! And I'm really annoyed that Ashleigh is *really* growing on me. :
I'm not sure what it was about last night, but none of the dances really impressed me much. I liked the first hip hop dance a lot. The bird dance was decently cool, but the music was so distracting. Travis Wahl's dance was really good and it was danced well, but it didn't really move me that much. And I HATED Lorieanne's dance. I just don't like her or her choreography, though. Maybe I was just in a weird mood. I hope the season gets better though. I don't know if I could keep watching if Victor and Jacob go home. They are the stars for me. None of the girls really impress me.
I agree about Lorieanne's choreography - I haven't liked any of the dances she has choreographed. Unfortunately I wasn't too impressed with the new guy who choreographed the Broadway routine either. But Travis Wahl is just outstanding! I think he could choreograph for a broomstick and a bull dog and it would still look fabulous. And Ashleigh is growing on me too. Good show, overall, last night.

Oh, no! I think she is a great host, but I wouldn't ask her for fashioin tips lol

I didn't like the broadway routing at all lastnight and I don't think it was the dancers it was just the dance. Same with the Lorieanne's routine.

I did like the blackbird dance and was happy to see Channing and Victor (is that his name?) do well again.

I REALLY like Legacy & Katherine, but I can't remember there dance from lastnight :-(

I normally LOVE Travis' dances, but I thought lastnight's was boring.

I hate how so much of it is the luck of the draw.

Oh, and Ashleigh is growing on me too, didn't expect that.
Ashleigh is totally growing on me too and I can't believe I am saying that. I thought she was terribly annoying at the beginning but she's really stepping up to the plate.

I'm also surprised that I have gotten to the point that I cannot stand Mollee and Nathan. I find their behavior so arrogant and immature. Both of them were practically smirking when Nigel was trying to talk to them about humility and maturity. They just think they're all that and that America is so in love with them. That's not the case for this viewer. I don't enjoy their dancing and the commentary with the judges is excruciating because of their attitude. I can't wait for them to go home.

Wow, I guess I need a life. I just enjoy this show more than any other show I watch. It's sad to see some of the dancers that are giving it their all every single week not get as much recognition as these two "dream team"ers that think they've got it in the bag.
