Other details: nothing too exciting this time, just a nice relaxing (ha!) birth. but if it is 5 hours, not sure my doula will make it since she's coming from about 1.5 hours away.

Other details: Hoping we have our wood stove, and there's lots of lovely snow on the ground. Really hoping not to birth during the day. We shall see. DS1 was a 15 hour labour, DS2 was 3 days. Ahem. Really hoping this one is a little quicker! DS1 was born at 39 weeks (+1), and DS2 at 38 weeks (+1), hence my early birth day prediction.

Baby Birthdate and your EDD: I'm thinking March 6, EDD is March 8. DD was born two days after EDD last time, and usually moms go earlier, but I actually kind of want this one to go a bit later. (Though I know I'll be rethinking that in six months. ) My mom's birthday is March 4 and I don't want their birthdays too close (she's the type who will suddenly think she owns the baby or something if they share a birthday).
Time of day: Evening. I'm hoping Meredith is awake for it.
Length of labor: 12 hours. Last time was 36 hours but she was posterior so I'm hoping for MUCH shorter this time.
Place of Birth: Home, hopefully in a birth pool in my living room.
Other details: I want Meredith to be awake for the birth. I'm hoping DH is a little calmer this time and that the baby isn't posterior. A friend of mine may come for it, depending on if she can leave her kids (I don't really want other kids around besides Meredith). I'll have my midwife from last time and maybe a doula. I think I'm going to try Hypnobabies this time around.
