The "short" version! Anyone else gonna watch this season? I wonder if anything will be different with all the models being under 5'7"? I'm going to try to count the number of times in the season Tyra says something to the effect of "With your limited height, you have to extend your neck/body/arms/whatever to create the illusion of height". Will the whole season be focused on height? And what about the Go-Sees? Will they even get booked?

The 2 hour season premier is tonight! Can't wait! :

Me! I didn't realize EVERYONE would be under 5'7'; I thought they were just allowing participation from girls under 5'7"?? Yeah, that might get old after a while... Dang, DH took DD for my 'break' right after I got home from work. So she'll be my responsibility while it's on! Oh, well...I guess she's watching ANTM tonight!

Yep all the girls have to be 5'7" or shorter!!! I wonder if they will even show up on camera, being so miniature and all? *says the 5'3" girl*

I missed some of it due to putting DD to bed. Did they tell them all to wear flats to panel? Why??? That annoys me.

Oh I'm SO glad that Amber (the Jesus girl) didn't come back! I don't think I could have taken her for one more minute. I think the "personal reason" for not coming back was that she had a psychotic break. She seemed quite unstable.

I agreed with who went home first. There looks to be some good pictures so far. I hate that when they bleach the girls hair blonde that they also totally bleach the eyebrows! I get that it looks alien and weird, but it looks TOO weird, IMO. And I actually liked that they all wore flats to panel. If they all wore high heels it would just seem like they are trying to be taller. I like that it's short and proud modeling!

I think that's probably why, too. She was annoying, but entertaining.

I KNOW!!! They recommend the tall girls wear heels because it makes your legs look good (gives them better shape) So why the flats on the short girls??

I'm all for being proud of your height, but for models, wearing flats just doesn't seem...natural! At least not on everyone, all at once. They should be treated just like the other, taller models, and be allowed to wear what they want. They are judged on what they wear to panel, are they not?

I agree completely that Tyra(gotta love her though) has gone cuckoo. That french accent grated on my last nerve...Was that necessary? What was that? Only french people have short models?

I love Nicoles look, too! She is stunning! Rae (the mama) and Laura (the girl with the thick southern accent) didnt stand out to me until they took pictures. They are stunning!! Those 3, along with Jennifer (Asian girl) and Lu Lu (gay woman) are my top 5 so far.

I really wish they would have done this petite modeling 5-7 years ago....
