holes in my garbanzo beans

are they still ok to eat? i noticed some when sorting them out and then more after soaking them. also saw some with little black bugs, dead, inside. can i still use the beans that have no holes/bugs?

I suppose you could, but I think you'd be risking your recipe and it'd be a pain to pick through. Plus it might be a bit icky... I personally wouldn't do it. Beans are innexpensive enough that I'd rather just buy new.
