GMD Prefold Size Question...

My almost 3 month old is currently in the small yellow edged GMD prefolds, but he will probably outgrow them in the next month or 2. We also have an almost 17 month old who I need more diapers for. Would I be able to get away with getting 3 dozen large brown edged diapers and just folding them down for the baby? They don't look THAT much bigger than red in the pictures and I don't mind a little extra bulk. I fold/snappi my prefolds and use bummies covers for the most part if that matters. It just seems like it would be so much easier to get 3 dozen of the brown and use them on both!!

Totally I started using premium CPF on my first at around 3 months I jsut folded the excess not at all an issue.

My 20ish lb 18 month old still has plenty of room in her GMD red edges and has been wearing them since she was about 4 months old.

If you don't ming a little extra bulk, I'd say it will work.

I have some red and some brown for my 20 lb 5 month old. They both fit fine. The difference between them is really small.

Awesome I will just get brown edged than!! I like the ease of being able to just grab a diaper and knowing it will fit whoever I happen to be changing!!

not sure how big the yellow edges are, but we went right from infant indian pfs to brown edges with no problem.
