As long as the weather is nice, what about a meetup at Tower Grove or another park?

I am just over the county line in Affton, but used to live at christy and gravois

I think Tower Grove is a great idea, as long as it's not raining it should be fine What day of the week is best for everyone?

By the time I could get there on a weekday it would be dark. Saturday and Sunday afternoons work though.

If it has to be a weekday I might be able to get all the kids there on the bus.

Is there another park within walking distance that would work for a weekday thing in the city? Tilles? Francis? Is there any interest in a Saturday or Sunday meetup? I know this time of year can be busy for a lot of people.

Tower Grove would be great, I was there weekend before last playing ball with my son and daughter. They have those little pavillions. I don't think at this time of year that they would be in great demand.
Alacrity- I am planning a b-day for my Nov 5th daughter. We are doing a Halloween thing, so I am right there with you on that one.
My schedule is very flexible, anytime pretty much I can be there. My children are a bit older, probably. Daughter will be 15 and my youngest son is 9. Oldest son will be 17 in January, he won't be there...lol. But the two youngest probably would love to meet some new people. Anyone with kids this age?

I can do tower grove. It is easier on weekends because I won't have the kids I babysit and life is always easier with only one kid instead of three toddlers. :P I love Tower Grove park though.

D is only going to be one. So we're having a pajama party. Not too much planning but I am spending the next few weeks decluttering my home. It is bad.

I can't imagine my daughter as a teenager. I am a little terrified of the teen years.

I have a 10 year old daughter. I also have 6 yo and 2 yo daughters.

I'm pretty flexible and would enjoy coming out too! Weekends, weekdays, nights are all fine; I'm out in the 'burbs so I can commute in to those who are more restricted in locations/transportation.

My girls are 3 and 1.75 (hehe)

Wow, lots of girls! My one beautiful daughter has been the easiest child that I have, and she is about to turn 15. I keep waiting for the claws to come out, but as of yet....

How about Saturday morning on the 17th? I don't think the playground is usually too crowded during the farmers market. We could go to Hartford if the weather is bad and there aren't too many of us.

There is something called Babymania that Saturday, (the 17th) I believe from 8 to 12 at Mehlville High School. I am so looking forward to it, I need so much still for this little one. You guys might want to check it out, or look the info up online. They have in in the parking lot apparently, and it seems to be popular because all of the vending spots are taken. (Someone was in the baby& kids section asking about a spot to sell their stuff)
I went to the Storklady sale at Crestwood and it was pretty great, but I am looking for a baby bed and am hoping to find one for a good price.

just getting back here after the move. we're getting settled so I'm not on my computer too much (MDC tricky to navigate on my phone).

ANYWAY... we're also out of town the 17th. but generally speaking weekends are doable. Or during the week somewhere walkable for Alacrity.

Also have plenty of space here to host a gathering sometime, though we're not even close to being public transit accessible.

What about the couch space at Cotton Babies? We also have a pass to Magic House, so would be up for meeting there pretty much anytime.

(I haven't updated my siggy yet... Lauren will be 3 on Nov 7th and Kiera is 6 mo old.)

kangaroo kids is a great place to meet up...and should be fairly accesible via public transport.

I dont often have weekends free but will come to a meetup if I am able. Can almost always make it during the week.

I love Kangaroo Kids but it is actually hard to get there from here. I could meet up at Tower Grove but I might have to sit out from Kangaroo Kids. It is a couple transfers (and takes over an hour) during which my daughter and I have to stand on the side of the rode for quite a while and she gets unhappy when we have to stand around. She is totally the boss around here.

BTW I am available the 17th for Tower Grove Park if anyone is up to it. Any time after 10 am is good for us.
