Homepage Links?

Have they been disabled? For the last two or three days they are all just linked back to the thread.

Which links do you mean?

When you scroll over the usernames for each post there are options to 'visit xxxusernames homepage' if they have set it up. But instead of taking you to their page, now it is just refreshing the thread you are on.

Yeah, when I click the homepage link, I get nothing. Maybe it has been disabled?

I will look into it.

Same question here; still not working & hasn't been for about a week or so.

Thanks for looking into it!

It might be a style issue or a browser issue.

I'm using MDC tan on my iMac with Firefox and the homepage links work. What are you all using?

i'm using the "default" (purple/gray/green accents) on IE on a PC. But, it also doesnt work using Safari on either a MacBook or PC with the default style.

I am on Windows (XP - I think), using Firefox, with the lavender style but I've checked all the other styles and it doesn't work on any of them for me. Checked Opera too and it is not working there either.

I just duplicated that, too. In Safari, Camino & Opera on my iMac, the homepage links don't work for me at all, no matter which style I choose. I can only get them to work in Firefox.

Out of curiousity, I will try Google Chrome on my XP netbook later.

I am using IE and Vista with the MDC Blue layout. And it does not work.

A real web designer knows that web pages must be built to the standards of Microsoft's poor coding rather than the W3C standards of web coding. Because after working your butt off to code a web page up to standard and seeing that it looks great in Firefox, Opera, Safari and maybe one version of IE there will always be the one or two versions of IE that decided not to play along. So all of that work only for someone (who only uses their ancient version of IE from 2001) to say, "it looks awful". (no, I am not referring to anyone here)

Come on, Mothering. You should have placed your priorities better and coded the forum to live up to Microsoft's amateur standards. Forget about all of those other useless browsers that follow the true standards!

Ah, Microsoft. How we love to loathe thee. {giggle}

Using my noscript & firebug plugins in Firefox, I think I figured it out! I'm passing along the info to admin.

I'm using Firefox on a MacBookPro, MDC tan, and the links aren't working.

I don't think they've ever worked right for me.
