Sleep walkers

DS occassionally sleepwalks. Most of the time it's harmless, occassionally he even does something cute (one time he started playing with non-existent toy cars.) He doesn't usually go anywhere.

However, last night he got out of bed, walked to my side, and started peeing on the book I was reading .

Yikes!!!

I had to get my 8 yo out of the shower in the middle of the night. She hadn't turned it on, but I heard her go into the bathroom, and when I went to check on her, found her standing in there. I asked her "What are you doing?" and she was so dazed and confused! She was so groggy, like "I don't know...." Bless her little heart. She also has gone and climbed into my 11 yo's bed in the night; I think she gets lonely!

(I hope it wasn't a library book!)

Wow. I was a sleepwalker into my 20's, and did some crazy things, but that just made my morning! Sorry for laughing at your mess!

My son opened the closet door and started peeing in there!
Sleepwalking is crazy!

Ds sleepwalks ALL THE TIME. He usually just wanders around in a daze and we guide him back to bed. One night he walked into the laundry room, opened the hamper and started to pee in there!

Better the dirty laundry than a book though!

My brother almost peed on my beanbag chair while sleepwalking when I was a teenager. I yelled "in there" at him and pointed to the bathroom. I think you just need to expect a sleepwalker is trying to find a bathroom much of the time. That wasn't the only incident with my brother... I was regaling ds with sleepwalking stories since he is also prone to them.
