I'm, uh, "wet" today

And it's gross! It's never much, but it's pretty constant, just enough to keep my underwear wet and my pants damp a few times. Enough that I went seeking out a pad from female coworkers because I'm worried that it'll show through one of these times!!

It's clear, but mixed in there is milky discharge. No obvious mucous yet. I just tried to check myself, but I'm really having trouble reaching. I've had contractions on and off all day, a bit stronger than before, but still not painful.

Come on body, decide what you're doing!!!

i've got that minus the stronger contractions, well maybe they are getting a wee bit stronger but i doubt as strong as yours.

Me too. I keep wondering what it is. Is it a slow plug leak, or a slow water leak or just lots of leukorrhia (sp?)? No obvious mucus plug or water breaking to speak of.

I've been having much stronger contractions for 2 days now, and last night we had a 4 hour stint of strong regular ones, before they fizzled out.

Well, contractions are continuing, light and irregular, but definitely there. The last few have been...stronger...yet still not...painful. They make me feel like I have to poop though I keep going to the bathroom and so far have been unsuccessful, one of these trips will probably be a "cleansing"

Still wet, still clear with milky mixed in, still not very much, still no mucus.

I have a play date at a friend's house tonight, and both of my doulas are going to be there, as well as two friends whose births I was a part of recently. I'm excited to see the babies, and maybe being around all those female hormones will get my body kicked into gear some more

ooh, good vibes coming your way! (well, to all you 'leaky' ladies!). My "leak" turned out not to be amniotic fluid... apparently I have a vag infection. Lovely. Have really enjoyed all the phone calls today updating people with that tidbit of information. But hoping the best for you all!!!

OK too funny i thought i was the only one, except i do poop and then have a contraction and it's uncomfortable...i know, TMI

BTW i don't think this baby is coming before my due date. but i hope yours does 2boyz!!!!

come on babies! i am feeling ya. i passed some serious globs of mucus today and i feel like pooping, but nothing. well, i did go twice and it was loose (sorrry for the TMI), but the remainder of the day it just feels like i have to go.

i told my neighbor, who is a good friend of mine, about the mucus and before i knew it she was telling everyone. i had to laugh because even the boat mechanic (another friend of ours) knew before dh and he told dh. i love close knit neighborhoods! : they are way too excited. i think that they are more nervous than dh and i.

so, let's get these babies movin' mamas.

I made it through the rest of the day at work with only the girls knowing (since I had to seek out a pad from one of them!), got home, took the boys on their play date, and really enjoyed myself. I was contracting the whole time, but still nothing real strong. One of my doulas (also a midwife in training) had her hand on my belly during one contraction and she said "wow, you ARE contracting!" Um, yeah, I'm not making it up!

So now boys are in bed and I'm ready for bed too. An interesting thing happened a bit ago, though. I was sitting talking to hubby, and when I stood up I felt a noticeable shift and suddenly it felt like baby was in my BUTT!! It was really weird! I walked around a bit and the pressure moved back to the front around my cervix again, but for those two minutes or so I had definite butt pressure. Maybe baby dropped more, or tucked his chin or something.

Ooh, another contraction...they still aren't really painful, but definitely getting to the point of being uncomfortable. We'll see what the evening brings!

Not to rain on your parade or anything, but I did the contractions/mucous thing for two weeks. Drove me crazy waking up every morning with no baby. But, when I did go into labor, it only took three hours, including pushing. Keep the faith!

The night was pretty uneventful. I woke up frequently, and sometimes noticed contractions, sometimes didn't. More leakage, I'm guessing it's just discharge because if it was mucus or fluid I'd think it'd pick up by now. But it's definitely still there. I put my underwear on this morning then walked over to the bathroom to put on my makeup, and in those few minutes my underwear were wet already. So grabbed a pad and put it on. We'll see what happens throughout the day today.
