Baby Names-Have you decided yet? - Page 2

We have some ideas but chances are that will change a lot. We are silly in that we want a name or nick name that ends in Y (with the sound E) to go with our: Chrissy, Toby, Libby

For a girl we are thinking Zoe

For a boy we are thinking Stanley

I would love some more boy name ideas. Our possible girl name list is easy. I like to have some ideas and see what baby likes at the birthing

If it's a girl (I'm hoping!) her name will be Claire.

For girls so far its:

Galatea Rose or Una Scarlett (although I know we'll work up a third choice too, we like to have lots of options for looking at the baby and trying on for size)

Boy names are harder for us this time around. We have lots of bits and fragments but no full names yet. For first names we like Keith, Reid, Ephriam, Moishe and Caspian and for middle names we're tossing around things like...North, Mack and Carver.

Still lots of fussing around with ideas yet to come. I really adore the naming process.

What about: Colby, Grady, Finley, Wesley, Huxly or Ellery?

Since this wee one was conceived while on vacation to the Outer Banks NC/Kitty Hawk, my husband said, "If it is a girl, let's name her Sandy (after the sand dunes). And the only possible names for a boy would be Wilbur or Orville (as in the Wright Brothers)."

Hahahahahaha. No.

Good thing he was just teasing me.

If it is a girl, she will be named Penelope Rose after both of her grandmothers. If it is a boy, either Benjamin Welcome or Isaac Throope. (Welcome & Throope are both beloved family names from my husband's side. I happen to love them too, handily enough.)

We like Sean Patrick for a boy and Bridgid Claire for a girl. They are still under thought though so we will see.

This is the one place where I can discuss my baby name choices. In real life I won't tell anyone. We had a friend "steal" a baby name from us once- I'm still mad about it.
So, usually I keep it a big secret. But... I LOVE baby names!! It's my favorite part of expecting.

For a girl we are definite on: Genevieve Camille

For a boy we have a really hard time: my first choice is Grady William (but my husband wants Elliott) I like that name ok, but not as much as Grady.

I also like Preston and Kellan, but my husband not so much

I always liked the idea if we had twin boys to name them Grady and Griffin. However, Griffin apparently means "monster" so my DH is adamently against that one. I'm ok with letting Griffin go since it seems to becoming really popular.

I'm glad DH and I aren't the only ones who are already discussing names! So far, the only boy name that we both like is Aerick. It sounds kinda nordic, which I like because my family is part Norwegian and part Scottish. We will definitely choose a family name for the middle name, but I have no idea what that will be yet! The only thing I don't like about Aerick is that it can't really be shortened into a nickname and me, DH, and DD all go by nicknames.

Before TTC DH likes to have names picked out for each sex and also for if we have twins (two boys, two girls or one of each). Of course, there's no guarantee that we'll actually use them.

We have two boys names that we like and it will be one of those, not sure which though. Girls names are in a constant state of flux.

Our first DD is Sonora and that's the only girls name that I really had to have. I have a hard time with girls names because none of them come close to how much I've always loved the name Sonora.

For a girl, we are looking for a first name that goes with Constance as a middle name because that is my grandma's name. I've even thought of just using her name, Constance Ann, but I don't know... too hard to imagine for a little girl since all I can think of is my grandma My husband likes Mary... so maybe Mary Constance. It just sounds too old to me.

For a boy, we will give him Charles as a first name because it is a family name on my side, but we will call him by whatever we pick out for a middle name.

We've added to our list:

Eli for a boy

Charlotte for a girl

I love Eli and Liam as brothers. I love Auden and Charlotte as their sisters but we are having a hard time with girl middle names.

4 names is a lot of work!
