What exactly was the 'urine dip'? Did they just check for glucose in case of diabetes? Usually a urine culture takes days, that's why I asked. You drop off a sample and it's sent to the lab. A culture would test for bacterial infection (UTI).
The grape consumption can also cause kidney damage as grapes are 'nephrotoxic' to canine kidneys. I know of a small dog that is lucky to have any kidney function after his kidneys were flushed for four days. He had consumed 15 grapes.
These are some common causes of leaking and pee accidents:
bladder and kidney crystals/stones (the urine just shoots out when it can)
Diabetes (increased water consumption makes it difficult to control bladder)
Bacterial urinary tract infection
inflamed organs pressing on the bladder (even liver disease can do this)
A CBC/Chemistry blood test will check blood cells levels for infection, various disease, and also check glucose in case of diabetes (A dip stick would indicate it after it was already advanced).
The urine specific gravity (done on a urine sample) will also be helpful.
Do you know exactly what the test was that she had?
Any time a dog's potty habits change drastically, it's best to check for a physical reason before looking at behavior. Sometimes it is a behavioral issue and retraining is helpful but many times there is a physical issue going on that may have been missed.
