My first appointment is 10.13 .. I really hope I get to hear a HB.. I know its unlikely but Im still really hopeful.

I go to my Family Doctor on October 1st for some bloodwork and MW office on October 29th.....................so far away from now

I go on Oct. 9. I'll probably get a dating ultrasound, since I conceived without having a cycle. I'm hoping we'll see or hear a tiny heartbeat. Hearing the hb is always my favorite part of prenatals.

My appointment is 10/15 - that will be between 10-11 weeks (dr weeks) for me. The nurse said that he likes to wait until 8-10 weeks for the first visit. There are a number of midwives at his practice and I am considering hooking up with one of them since I would like to do things naturally.

Anybody thinking about getting a Doula?

I have my first meeting/prenatal with a new mw at a birthing center on september 17. I feel relieved to be able to get in at only 6 weeks, I know it's silly but somehow it just makes me feel better that someone is seeing me.

yay! I just got an appt w/a different midwives clinic! it will be the 13th instead of the 29th

My first appt isn't until November 14th. My midwife is going on vacation and I don't need to have an appt in this early beginning part anyhow really. Its gonna be hard to wait though...that first appt. is somehow very special.

My first appointment is on Thursday 17th. It should be just a check in and a blood draw and deciding on plans for the first trimester. I had a previous loss and had low progesterone, so we will see.

My first mw appt. (now that we've had the u/s is on 10/15 at 11 weeks .

Hopefully we'll hear the HB then and I'll schedule the NT scan I think.

I love my mw group, can't wait to see them again!

I called for an appointment the other day and they said they didn't need to see me until 12 wks! I'll fall apart by then! I think I'll go somewhere else in the meantime and get a sonogram around 7-8 wks to see the heartbeat.

I'm in the "haven't even made an appointment yet" group. With DS I think my first appt with my ob/gyn was at 8 weeks, then we transfered to a free standing birthcenter and probably my first appt there was at 12 weeks. I guess I feel like I still have some time, but I need to call this week.

My first appointment is October 19 with a midwifery group. They said they didn't make appointments until the 10th week or later (mine will be the 11th week).

I need to find out if these midwives still do homebirths, otherwise, I'll have to find a different care provider.

For my last pregnancy, I first went in at 8 weeks.

Oct 5th is OB appt, Sept 24th is prenatal nurse/ob history appt (they already have it all since they delivered my last, but i get to do it all again.

I signed up for my same midwife as for my first two chilrden, yay! But I won't see anyone until 12wks and not her specifically until December. So that'll be October 28th or November 4th. I just don't feel the need to see her before then.

Oct. 2 still with the RE. If all looks good he will release me to the OB, but when the nurse just called with my HCG levels she asked me if I was sure on my LMP date. When I told her absolutely. We have only been trying for 4 years, I know how to count it! She was concerned the number was high- 650 and since I had a miscarriage before she is going to talk to the doctor about coming in even earlier. Doc said to wait and see what the next HCG test showed and we would go from there.

I had to reschedule my appointment that was to be tomorrow. It's now Oct. 5.
