Regular flu vax?

I'm not sure where to look on this, but thought maybe some one else has thought of it too? People are supposed to get a yearly flu vax right. How much toxin is that introducing yearly to the body and what harm is it causing year after year?
For nursing moms does it introduce flu antibodies to the baby? Or pass on harmful chemicals.

This depends entirely on where you look and who you ask. Paul Offit for example would say no harmful chemicals are tranferred to the fetus and there is NO harm in getting one year after year, pregnant or not.
There are others that disagree, myself included. Thimerosol is in most flu vaccines. There is plenty of scientific evidence (if you dig for it) that links this substance to neurological problems and plenty of studies show that there IS a cumulative effect. If you want to know more about the real story of thimerosol I recommend reading "Evidence of Harm" by David Kirby. All the dirty little secrets are nicely exposed in this book. I don't see how assulting the immune system with toxic chemicals year after year can NOT have negative effects over time KWIM?

One does not pass on vaccine induced immunity through nursing so no there is no protection for nursing babies if their mother was vaccinated. Antibodies are only tranferred via natural infection. Nursing will however protect against getting the flu itself and if the baby were to get it, it would help lessen the severity. Whether or not chemicals from vaccines are transferred via breastmilk is also debateable. I think most would agree that they are, but the question is if the quantities are enough to be of harm....well since the powers that be tell you that even the quantities in the vaccines themselves are not harmful, why would a lesser amount transferred via breastmilk be harmful? WHATEVER is what I say !

Thanks. It was thinking about my vet that made me think of this. Because alot of vets are saying yearly vaxs are bad for pets. Well, yearly flu shot....chemicals....
We don't get them, but my family does-especially the seniors and they still get sick every year. Maybe not w/ the flu-but a horrible lingering cough thing that lasts 1-2 months. I think my aunt did get the flu last year though after the vax. She's trying to push us to get them-even the new one-
I haven't read that book yet. I'd like to read Hilary's books too.
I'll have to recheck the vax passing via breastmilk again. I could swear I read that it does transmit. Will try to find it.
